Goed hotel; deels verouderd; mooie grote tuin met zwembad; geen 4 sterren; uitsluitend Fransen en duitse gasten (non smoking hotel)
“ Stayed at Room 10A: right next to the stairs for the upper rooms;all day group of people talking at the bottom of the strairs; not realy relaxing sitting on the terrace. this room is the first room on a path to other rooms and hotelrestaurant; all day people going by and looking inside the side room all the time. the beds were too often used; need to get new ones. Diner: the food too many times not warm enough; pizza's were all 7 days cold; enough variety. Desert: some cakes were really cold; looked like the were straight out of the freezer. Breakfast: the small white/brown little panini's were baked too hard; further more breakfast ok. Staff at the restaurant; most employees friendly especially Alan; some people didnot want to speak to the gast. Evening entertainment: every evening a different singer; 6 out of the 7 evenings there were no more than 8 gast enjoing the singer. The singers didn't know how to get the group enthusiastic enough; so sometimes the singer was singing for 3 gast. In the hotel were a lot of French gast. They dominated the fibe in the hotel and during the daytime french kids took the whole swimmingpool for themselfs. Yelling and screaming loud; the lifegard didn't take any action. there was no room for other gasts to enjoy the water at the same time. The hotel sells tickets for all kind of excursions but when we want to buy a tickets there was no person available for 24hours. 1 tip for room 10: the TV can not be turned; from not any angle you can not watch TV, unless you want to sit on the floor. Garden/swimmingpool: very nice; enough space for a lot off people; enough sunbeds; no claiming a sunbed with towels in the morning. Part of the facility need a re-furnishing: some old used rooms with old beds. Some facilities - mini club and Petanque of the hotel were old;needs a upgate to 2024.Far from center of Puerto de la Cruz; 1,2km. The center and harbour are very nice. In the evening there is music on the streets done by locals or singers in the hotels. “
